About Michele

Before coming to the counselling profession, I worked in the field of early childhood, first as a preschool and primary teacher and then as a university teacher and lecturer teaching for 18 years.

I now have a general counselling practice with a focus on helping families, whether with parenting or with other issues such as relationships, anxiety, depression or grief.

My work with couples is informed by many modalities, including Gottman, Imago and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

I am passionate about my work and am involved in ongoing professional development at The Family and Couple Training Institute.

Additionally, I am a Circle of Security Parenting practitioner and run three of these programs annually.
